Reviews aggregation site Metacritic compiles game reviews and then averages those scores into an overall average. What you are about to read is a list of the top-10 highest-rated games of all times based on the averages obtained by Metacritic. In this list the highest-ranked version of the games are listed in order to make room for a handful of games that, otherwise, wouldn’t have made the list.
